This Is For You If...

You run a business, or you're building one, and something isn't working. Not the spreadsheets. You. Maybe it's one of these:

You're working 60 hour weeks and the business still feels like it's running you

You know exactly what you should be doing and you're still not doing it

You've hit a ceiling and you can't figure out whether the problem is the business, the market, or your own head

You've got the money and the title and you still feel flat

Your relationships, your health, or your sleep are quietly paying for your success

You've got a big decision in front of you and you keep putting it off

You've read the books, watched the podcasts, and none of it sticks

If any of those landed, keep reading. If none of them did, you probably don't need a coach right now, and that's fine too.

What a Life Coach Actually Does

Let's clear something up first, because the word "life coach" has been beaten to death by people with a certificate from a weekend course and a ring light.

A good life coach is not a therapist, not a cheerleader, and not a guru. A therapist helps you heal what happened in the past. A consultant tells you what to do. A life coach works with where you are right now and helps you get where you want to be, faster and with less damage along the way.

Practically, that means:

Clarity

Most people who feel stuck aren't lazy or incapable. They're unclear. They have six competing priorities, no honest picture of what they actually want, and a head full of noise. Coaching cuts through that. You leave sessions knowing what matters and what doesn't.

Accountability

You tell me what you're going to do. Next session, I ask you if you did it. That sounds simple. It's brutally effective, and it's the thing almost nobody in your life is willing to do for you.

Perspective

When you're inside a problem, you can't see its edges. A coach sits outside it. I'll ask the questions your mates won't ask, notice the patterns you've stopped noticing, and challenge the stories you've been telling yourself for years.

A structured process

Not vague chats about feelings. Goals, plans, obstacles, action, review. Repeat.

The research on this is solid. Structured goal setting, regular accountability, and working with someone who challenges your thinking all measurably improve follow-through. That's not motivational speaker stuff. That's how behavior change works.

Why Business Owners Need a Life Coach, Not Just a Business Coach

Here's what I've learned from years in business and from working with the people who run them: the business is almost never the real problem.

You can hire a business coach to fix your sales process, your margins, your marketing funnel. Useful. But if the person at the top is burnt out, indecisive, avoiding conflict, or secretly unsure whether they even want this anymore, no funnel on earth is going to fix that.

The business is a mirror. It reflects the habits, fears, and blind spots of whoever's running it.

  • A founder who can't delegate builds a company that can't grow past them
  • An owner who avoids hard conversations ends up with a team full of underperformers they're too uncomfortable to manage
  • Someone who ties their entire identity to revenue will make panicked decisions the first bad quarter they hit
  • A business owner running on four hours of sleep and no boundaries will eventually crash, and take the business down with them

Life coaching for business owners deals with the operator, not just the operation. We work on how you make decisions, how you handle pressure, what you're avoiding, what you actually want your life to look like, and how the business fits into that instead of consuming it.

When the person gets sharper, the business follows. Every single time.

What Changes When You Work With The Life Coach

You make decisions faster and regret them less

Indecision is expensive. Every week you sit on a hire, a pricing change, a partnership, a pivot, it's costing you. We build a way of thinking through decisions that you'll use for the rest of your career.

You stop doing everything yourself

Most owners are the bottleneck in their own business and don't want to admit it. We work through why you hold on to things, and how to let go without the wheels falling off.

Your goals stop being wishes

"I want to double revenue" is a wish. "Here's the number, here's the timeline, here's what has to change in me and in the business to get there, and here's who's checking on me every fortnight" is a plan.

You get your evenings and weekends back

Working harder is not a strategy. We look at where your time actually goes, what's non-negotiable, and what you've been doing out of habit or guilt.

You handle pressure without it leaking into everything else

Stress from the business shouldn't be showing up at the dinner table. We work on the tools that let you switch off, stay steady in a crisis, and recover properly.

You get honest about what you actually want

Some clients come in wanting to grow and leave realizing they want to sell. Some come in ready to quit and leave with a business they finally enjoy running. The point isn't a predetermined outcome. It's the truth, and then a plan built on it.

Meet Your Coach

I'm Ronald Osborne, and I'll be upfront: I didn't become a life coach because I read about it in a magazine. I became one because I'd spent enough years in business, in different countries, and in enough hard situations to have something worth passing on.

My background, briefly:
  • I served in the Australian Army before moving into business.
  • I founded and built a telecommunications company from nothing to multi-million dollar annual revenue, then exited it.
  • Today I run a digital marketing agency that works with aged care and senior living providers across the United States, and I own a directory business with thousands of listings.
  • I've written a published book on marketing in that industry.

Academically, I hold an MBA in Finance, graduating with a distinction average, and a bachelor's degree in psychology. That combination matters. The MBA means I understand your P&L, your cash flow, and your growth problems as a business owner, not as an outsider. The psychology means I understand why you keep doing the things that hold you back, and how to actually change them.

I've lived and worked in multiple countries and speak more than one language. That's not a brag, it's context. When you've had to rebuild your life and your business in a place where you don't know the rules, you learn very quickly what's essential and what's noise. I bring that to every client.

What I'm not:

I'm not going to blow smoke. I'm not going to tell you that you're amazing and everything will work out. I'm going to ask you direct questions, listen properly, tell you what I see, and hold you to what you say you'll do. Some people find that confronting. The ones who get results find it refreshing.

What I care about: People who are capable of more than they're currently getting, and who are tired of pretending otherwise.

How Coaching With Us Works

1

Free discovery call (30 minutes)

We talk about where you are, where you want to be, and what's in the way. I'll ask a lot of questions. By the end, we'll both know whether this is a fit. If it's not, I'll say so and point you somewhere better.

2

Clarity session

Our first proper session. We go deep on your business, your life outside it, your goals, and the patterns that keep showing up. You'll leave with more clarity than you've had in months, guaranteed.

3

Ongoing coaching

Regular sessions, typically fortnightly, in person at one of our locations or online. Each session has a purpose: review what you did, work through what's next, deal with what came up. Between sessions you have actions, and you have me if something urgent comes up.

4

Review and adjust

Every few months we step back and look at the whole picture. What's changed, what's working, what needs a different approach. Coaching isn't forever. The goal is to get you to a point where you don't need me.

What This Looks Like in Real Life

Names and details have been changed to protect client privacy.

The founder who couldn't let go

Mark ran a successful trades business in Melbourne with eleven staff. Successful on paper. In practice, he was quoting every job, checking every invoice, and answering his phone at 9pm on a Sunday. His wife had stopped asking when he'd be home. He came to coaching wanting to "get more organized." What we actually uncovered was that he didn't trust anyone else to do the work properly because his identity was built on being the guy who does it right. We worked on that for four months. He now has an operations manager, hasn't quoted a job himself in a year, took his first two week holiday in eight years, and revenue went up because he finally had time to think about the business instead of just working in it.

The consultant who was quietly falling apart

Priya had a boutique consulting practice in Adelaide that looked great from the outside. Good clients, strong reputation. What nobody saw was that she was working 70 hours a week, hadn't exercised in two years, and was starting to dread Monday mornings. She booked a discovery call thinking she needed help with "time management." Within the first session it was clear the real issue was that she'd never actually decided what she wanted the business to be, so she said yes to everything. We built a filter for what work she took on, raised her rates, and cut her client list by a third. Her income went up. Her hours went down. She sleeps now.

The owner who wanted to quit

Daniel had a hospitality business in Brisbane that he'd built over a decade, and he was done. Burnt out, resentful, ready to sell for whatever he could get. He came to coaching to figure out how to exit. Over a few sessions, it became clear he didn't hate the business. He hated the version of himself the business had turned him into: reactive, short-tempered, always fighting fires. We spent three months working on how he ran his days, how he handled staff, and what he'd stopped doing that used to make him happy. He didn't sell. He's still there, running a business he enjoys again, with a manager handling the stuff that used to send him over the edge.

The high performer with nothing left to give

Sarah was a senior executive in Sydney with a big title, a big salary, and no idea why she felt so empty. She wasn't a business owner, but she was thinking about becoming one and was terrified of making the wrong move. Coaching gave her a structured way to test the idea instead of agonizing over it. She launched a side business, ran it alongside her job for six months, and made the jump with a clear plan and real numbers behind it. She's now two years in, profitable, and describes the coaching as "the first time anyone made me answer my own questions."

These stories are different on the surface. Underneath, they're the same story. Capable people, stuck for reasons they couldn't see, who got clear and then got moving.

Questions People Ask Before They Book

What's the difference between a life coach and a business coach?

+

A business coach works on the business: sales, systems, strategy, marketing. A life coach works on the person running it. Because I have both an MBA and a psychology background, my coaching covers both, but the focus is always on you as the operator. Fix the operator and the business gets easier to fix.

Is life coaching the same as therapy?

+

No. Therapy is clinical treatment for mental health conditions and typically looks at the past. Coaching is future-focused and action-based. If in our discovery call it becomes clear you need a psychologist or another clinical professional, I'll tell you and help you find one. Coaching works best when you're functional and frustrated, not in crisis.

How long does coaching take?

+

Most clients work with me for three to six months. Some longer, some shorter. We'll talk about what makes sense for your situation on the discovery call. There are no lock-in contracts.

How much does it cost?

+

It depends on the program and whether we work in person or online. I'll be transparent about pricing on the free call once I understand what you need. What I will say is that most business owners who finish a coaching program consider it one of the better returns they've had on anything they've spent money on.

Do I have to come to one of your locations?

+

No. Online coaching is available for everyone, and it works just as well. In-person sessions are available at the locations listed above.

What if I'm not a business owner?

+

Most of my clients run businesses, but not all. If you're a senior professional, an executive, or someone with a big goal in front of them and something in the way, this will still work. Book the call and we'll find out.

What happens on the free discovery call?

+

Thirty minutes over the phone or video. You talk, I ask questions, we work out whether coaching would help and whether we'd work well together. There's no pressure and no hard sell. If it's a no, it's a no.

Book a Free Call Today and Find Out If We're the Right Fit

You've read this far, which means something in here hit home. You've got two options now. Close the tab and go back to what you were doing, or spend 30 minutes finding out what would change if you had someone in your corner who tells you the truth and holds you to it.

The call is free. There's no obligation. Worst case, you get half an hour of clear thinking about your situation. Best case, it's the conversation you look back on as the turning point.
